Skatehouse launched on August 11, 2025 as a self-described small, finished game. The developer, Tyler Ray Games, is a solo developer who built this as their first game while working a full-time job. The store description and launch post are both explicit that this is a 4–5 hour experience intentionally designed as a simplified shop simulator — a complete, scoped product rather than a platform for ongoing expansion.
