Skator Gator launched on January 17, 2022 as a complete, self-contained lane-based platformer with 20+ levels across three areas. After launch, the developer released one small patch on February 18, 2022 that added an achievement and fixed a bug — no new levels, story content, or expansions were ever added to the base game. On May 19, 2022, Weathered Sweater announced a full sequel, Skator Gator 3D, rather than additional content for this game. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, and no developer statements suggesting further content for the original Skator Gator.
