Skeet: VR Target Shooting

Skeet: VR Target Shooting launched as a free-to-play title on April 5, 2016. The developer shipped two major content updates: the 1.0 polish update on April 3, 2016 and Patch 2.0 on December 25, 2016, which added three new game modes, a new gun, Oculus Rift support, leaderboards, and the optional "Thank You" supporter DLC. A follow-up feature patch (2.1) was released on October 24, 2017, described as preparation for "something a bit bigger," with the developer signing off with "Stay tuned for more!" However, that October 24, 2017 post is the last communication from Flatbox Studios on record — over eight years ago as of June 2026. No subsequent major content, announcements, or developer posts have appeared. The "something bigger" teased in the patch 2.1 notes was never delivered or publicly announced, and the studio has been silent since. All three DLC items (the Thank You support tiers) were released in December 2016 and represent cosmetic supporter content rather than game content expansions. Given the complete absence of any developer communication since October 2017 and no announced or unreleased content remaining, the game is effectively complete. The last meaningful development activity was the October 24, 2017 patch.
