Sky Jump launched on September 23, 2017 as a casual one-touch platformer. The developer shipped a handful of feature patches and bug fixes between 2018 and 2021, mostly touching up music, backgrounds, the reward system, and the game's large achievement collection. The most recent developer communication was a feature patch on March 15, 2021, which overhauled achievements in response to DMCA takedowns. In that same post, the developer answered a question about future plans by saying they would do "the same update for other games" — referring to the achievement overhaul already shipped, not new gameplay content. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced roadmap, and no developer statements indicating any further updates are planned. The game has not received any communication of any kind since March 15, 2021 — over five years of silence. With no pattern of major content releases and no outstanding commitments, the game is considered complete as it stood at the time of that final update.
