Slayaway Camp launched on October 25, 2016 and received a healthy run of post-launch content: the Santa's Slay expansion (December 7, 2016), a free Valentine's Day movie update (February 14, 2017), an Easter update (April 2017), the Monthly Murderers Series 1 killer pack (May 19, 2017), and the Supernatural Forces Killer Pack (May 19, 2017). All four DLC items listed on the store are marked as released, with the last two shipping on May 19, 2017. After May 2017, developer communications for this game went quiet — no further content updates, expansions, or roadmap announcements have been made. The most recent developer post touching this game (October 7, 2025) was a routine engine security patch, not a content update. The studio's creative energy clearly shifted to the sequel: Blue Wizard Digital announced Slayaway Camp 2 in March 2024 and released it on November 1, 2024. With all DLC shipped, no unreleased content listed, no roadmap or promises of future updates, and the sequel now out, the original Slayaway Camp is a complete, finished package. The last content to ship was the Supernatural Forces Killer Pack on May 19, 2017.
