Evaluation

Sledders officially launched out of Early Access on March 20, 2025, releasing simultaneously on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. At launch, the developer explicitly stated development would continue: "This is just the start. We're excited to keep growing Sledders, adding more features, and making this the best snowmobiling game possible." Since the 1.0 launch, Hanki Games has delivered a rapid and consistent stream of major content updates: - Custom Racing Update (May 28, 2025) - It's Almost Winter / Drainage map (October 14, 2025) - First Snow (December 8, 2025) - Spring Colours Update (May 12, 2026) - New Horizons Part 1 – customization and audio (June 11, 2026) - New Horizons Part 2 – level editor and fuel system (August 19, 2026) That's six major updates in roughly 17 months, establishing a consistent cadence of approximately every 2-3 months. On April 8, 2026, the developer published a 2026 roadmap outlining upcoming priorities. The New Horizons updates were delivered in two parts as planned, with Part 2 shipping today. While the explicit "Part 2 coming this summer" commitment from June has now been fulfilled, the broader 2026 roadmap signals that Hanki Games has further plans beyond the New Horizons content. The game's sustained update history and the existence of a published roadmap both point to continued active development.

About this game

Ride deep powder the way real snowmobilers do.

Sledders is a physics-driven snowmobile simulator built for backcountry riding. There are no tracks, no checkpoints, or routes. The mountain is open world. Your line is yours to find.

Climb steep mountains, sidehill across hills and drop into untouched bowls. Every tap to throttle, lean, and countersteer matters.

Some lines feel impossible in the beginning. Some climbs take tens of attempts before you finally make it to the top.

Massive open maps inspired by real northern riding areas give you the space to explore and discover new routes. It can take a long time just to cross one area, and the best spots are rarely obvious.

Choose a licensed sled from Lynx, Polaris, or Ski-Doo and head into the backcountry.

Ride solo or join others online. Proximity voice chat make it feel like riding together in the mountains. Call out lines, help spot climbs, or just watch your friend try to survive a sketchy sidehill.

Record your best runs with replay mode and chase your friends with drone.

Sledders have mod support and community-made content. You can download custom wraps and maps from inside the game.
