Slow and Steady

Slow and Steady is a free-to-play casual game that launched on April 27, 2021. It received one major free content update — "Leaf me alone" — on July 30, 2021, and a paid soundtrack DLC on September 23, 2022. That soundtrack DLC is the only DLC listed, and it has been released. The most significant and recent developer communication is a January 29, 2024 post where the developer explains, in plain terms, that a planned multiplayer version of Slow and Steady was attempted but has been set aside in favor of a separate game called Heart Attack. The developer expresses a hope to return to finish the multiplayer version someday — but only if Heart Attack succeeds financially. This is a conditional, aspirational statement rather than a concrete commitment, and the developer has made no further announcements about Slow and Steady since January 29, 2024. There is no announced or unreleased DLC, no roadmap, and no post-launch update pattern beyond the single "Leaf me alone" update from 2021. The game appears to have launched and been supported briefly before development focus shifted to the studio's other projects. With no outstanding commitments and the developer's own statement confirming that Slow and Steady work is on hold indefinitely, the game's content can be considered complete as of the soundtrack DLC release in September 2022.
