Small Saga

Small Saga launched on November 16, 2023 and has received sustained post-launch development. The launch post on November 17, 2023 outlined plans including bug fixes, a Deluxe edition (soundtrack and travel guide, both released November 24, 2023), a MacOS release, a planned free content update, and localizations. On June 10, 2026, the developer shipped Version 2 — a major rebuild of the game in a new engine, adding the Rogue League gauntlet mode, Knife Darts minigame, cloud saves, and achievements. Version 2 was followed by stability patches on June 12 and June 30, 2026. On August 14, 2026, the developer shipped another significant update introducing Titan Reaper hard mode, an extras menu with developer commentary, and additional music tracks. Crucially, the August 14 post explicitly states: "The next major update will be to localise the game into other languages, but we do expect to make minor updates in the meantime to address anything else we've missed." This is a clear developer commitment to a future localization update, meaning the game is not yet a complete package. Both DLC items (soundtrack and travel guide) are released, and no unreleased DLC is listed on the store, but the developer's own words confirm more is coming.
