Smoke and Sacrifice

Smoke and Sacrifice launched on May 31, 2018 as a complete, narrative-driven RPG. Shortly after launch, Solar Sail Games released a quality-of-life patch on July 9, 2018 addressing community feedback. On January 23, 2019, they shipped a meaningful content update adding new side quests and the Possession Wand weapon to coincide with the game's console launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. That January 2019 update represents the last substantive development work on the game itself. The only DLC ever listed — the official soundtrack — released on September 14, 2018 and is the sole item in the store's DLC catalog, with no unreleased entries. The most recent news post from the publisher (March 1, 2024) is a Curve Games publisher-wide sale announcement covering multiple titles; it contains no mention of Smoke and Sacrifice content or development. Solar Sail Games has made no announcements of future content, roadmaps, or ongoing development. The game launched as a complete story experience and has received no content additions since January 2019. It is a finished product.
