Snail Racer Extreme

Snail Racer Extreme launched on July 16, 2018 and received a series of feature patches through August and September 2018. On September 1, 2018, the developer published a post explicitly suspending work on several planned features — including multiplayer, a monthly hall of fame, additional game modes (space mode, bonus level), and save features — alongside a final batch of new snail skins and booster updates. No developer communication of any kind has appeared since that September 1, 2018 post. The game launched as a small casual title, received a handful of updates over roughly six weeks, and then development was explicitly placed on hold. There has been no post-launch update pattern of major content releases, and the developer has not communicated any future plans in the nearly eight years since that final post. The game can be treated as a finished product in its current state.
