Snake Force

Snake Force is a free-to-play top-down shooter originally created for Ludum Dare 48-hour game jam and later released on Steam on November 18, 2021. The developers are transparent in the store description that the game is intentionally small — 5 levels and a secret mode, with a total playtime of 30–45 minutes. They describe it as a personal passion project refined "for fun," and note that while they may add more content "someday when we want to," there is no committed roadmap or announced future content. Following launch, the team shipped a small cluster of feature patches and fixes between November 19 and November 30, 2021 — adding a new character, a holographic sight, cheat mode features, melee and save fixes, and UI improvements. These updates all occurred within the first two weeks after launch and there has been no developer communication since November 30, 2021. Given the developer's own description of the game as intentionally limited in scope, the absence of any announced or listed future content, and the complete silence since November 30, 2021, this game launched and completed its initial post-release polish as a finished product. The vague mention of possibly adding more content "someday" is not a concrete commitment and does not indicate planned content.
