Soda Crisis launched on May 23, 2022 as a complete side-scrolling action game. In the weeks following launch, the developer (Team Soda) pushed several patches addressing control improvements, bug fixes, and minor content additions based on player feedback.
The most significant post-launch development was the Level Editor, teased on October 31, 2022 and fully launched as a major update shortly after. Through November and December 2022, the team shipped a series of feature patches steadily expanding the Level Editor with new tools, materials, objects, and quality-of-life improvements — the last of which was posted on December 16, 2022.
Since December 16, 2022, there have been no further developer communications about new features or content — only sales, events, and similar no-signal posts.
