Solas City Heroes launched on April 25, 2023 as a complete beat-'em-up with RPG and adult content elements. After launch, the developer released a series of patches and feature updates through 2023, then shipped the "Rise of the Succubus" paid expansion on February 17, 2024, which added new stages, enemies, a villain creator, and a substantial batch of new animations.

The developer's accompanying post described this as content they had intended to release earlier but kept delaying, and notably stated they were now focused on finishing their next game, Kinky Fight Club 2.
