Somerville launched on November 14, 2022 as a self-contained sci-fi adventure game. After launch, Jumpship released a series of bug-fix patches (November 2022 through August 2023), expanded language support to 24 languages, and brought the game to PlayStation 4 and 5 in August 2023. In December 2023, the original soundtrack was released on Steam as a separate purchase. There is no DLC, no announced expansions, no roadmap, and no developer statements pointing to future game content. The soundtrack release is the most recent developer communication, dated December 21, 2023.
