Sorry We're Closed launched on November 14, 2024 and has received consistent post-launch support from à la mode games and Akupara Games. Over the following year, the developers shipped a steady stream of updates including controller improvements, new difficulty modes, New Game+, Time Attack, additional character portraits, and language support. The game also came to consoles (Switch, PS4/PS5, Xbox) on March 6, 2025. The two DLC items listed on the store are both released: a Soundtrack (November 14, 2024) and a 141-page Digital Art Book (December 18, 2025). Neither represents planned future content — both have shipped. The Art Book release on December 18, 2025 also came with Steam trading cards, backgrounds, and emoticons, rounding out the game's community features. There are no announcements of upcoming DLC, expansions, or future content of any kind. The most recent developer communication was a bug fix post on July 2, 2025, resolving a Steam achievement issue. Follow the final days of Michelle as she battles to break the curse placed on her by a powerful archdemon looking for love. Help (or hinder!) the lives of the curious residents in Michelle’s bustling London borough as she pursues freedom from her own untimely demise.

Michelle’s time is split between the perilous demon world and mingling with the locals on her residential street. Everyone is battling their own inner demons and through Michelle you can help guide them. Multiple endings are available through RPG-style dialogue interactions with the extravagant cast.
