Soulslayer ~The Wedding Eve~ launched on Steam on July 13, 2017 as the first episode in the Soulslayer adventure game series. Shortly after launch, the developer focused on improving the English localization through several rounds of editing (July and December 2017), and released the original soundtrack as a DLC on July 31, 2017. The game's only paid DLC — the soundtrack — has been available since launch month. The last notable developer activity was the Nintendo Switch release on October 1, 2019, which was accompanied by a Steam promotion. There have been no developer communications since that date, and no new content, DLC, or roadmap has been announced for this title. The store description notes that 'Soulslayer' is an episodic adventure series where "every episode is a separate story," and that 'The Wedding Eve' is the first episode. However, no subsequent episodes have been announced or listed on the store, and there has been no developer communication about future episodes since October 2019. Given the nearly seven-year silence since the last developer post, this game appears to have concluded its content lifecycle as a standalone episode.
