Spaceland: Sci-Fi Indie Tactics

Spaceland launched on September 30, 2019, and Tortuga Team followed through on their post-launch roadmap with a steady stream of updates. The team shipped multiple feature updates through 2019–2020 (online co-op modes, daily missions, an alternate ending, and console ports), then released two paid DLC campaigns: Training Day on April 12, 2021 (a co-op campaign), and Frontier on March 17, 2022. A notable free update in October 2024 added cooperative play to the main story and all campaigns — a meaningful quality-of-life addition — but did not introduce new story content. All four items in the DLC list are released, with Frontier (March 17, 2022) being the last content addition. The October 2024 update was a feature patch enabling co-op across existing content rather than new missions or a new campaign. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no announced future content, and no developer communication suggesting additional expansions are in the works. The last developer post was on October 24, 2024. The two major DLC releases (April 2021 and March 2022) established a roughly 11-month content cadence, but no third DLC has followed in the more than four years since Frontier shipped. The developer's silence on new content, combined with the absence of any announced plans, indicates the game's content cycle has concluded.
