The Norrman Brothers have shipped major seasonal updates on a consistent cadence since at least 2020, with each season resetting the ladder and introducing new content such as areas, skills, unique items, boss revisions, and system reworks. Major season launches documented in the news history include August 2020, May 2021, July 2022, January 2024, June 2024, December 2024, April 2025, September 2025, April 2026, and most recently September 18, 2026. The September 14, 2026 announcement — just three days before today's date — previews the upcoming September 18, 2026 season launch, confirming the game is actively maintained with a new map event (Behemoths), new unique items, and a variety of system revisions. By design, this seasonal model means the game is never "done" — each season brings a fresh ladder reset and new content. There is no indication from the developers that seasons are ending or that development is winding down.
