Spindle launched on October 13, 2025 after nearly nine years of development. Following release, the team promptly addressed player feedback with several patches in the weeks after launch (1.0.4 on October 17, 1.0.5 on October 27), then shipped a more substantial Update 1.1.0 on December 11, 2025, which included quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and post-game enhancements that players had requested. The same day, the official soundtrack was released as a standalone DLC. A final small bug-fix patch (1.1.1) followed on January 5, 2026. The developer has made no announcements of future DLC, expansions, or additional content beyond what has already shipped. All DLC listed on the store (the soundtrack) is released. The launch post on October 13 described reaching "an important milestone" — language consistent with a complete product rather than the start of a live content cycle. No roadmap or future content commitments have been communicated. The most recent developer communication was on January 5, 2026, and consisted solely of minor bug fixes with no hints of upcoming content. Spindle appears to have shipped as a complete, finished game — one that received thorough post-launch polish but has no outstanding content commitments. The December 11, 2025 update represents the last meaningful content addition (post-game improvements and the soundtrack), making that the most reasonable date by which the full content package was in place.
