Spy Alliance

Spy Alliance (谍影成双) launched on August 8, 2024 as a deliberately compact, self-contained two-player interactive FMV game with a single playthrough length of 30-40 minutes and a full content runtime of approximately 90 minutes. The developer described it as a small "proof of concept" project — internally called "Little Double" (小双) — designed to test player interest in the co-op interactive format. Following launch, the developer issued two maintenance patches: a feature patch on August 9, 2024 (cloud save sync and archive load improvements) and a bug fix on August 14, 2024 (minor interaction polish). No further updates to the game itself have been posted since August 14, 2024. On November 6, 2024, the developer announced that a separate successor game — "New World: Shadow Alliance" (新世界：暗影成双, internally "Big Double") — entered production on November 1, 2024. This is an entirely new, standalone product with a different title, story, and substantially expanded scope (200+ minutes of gameplay). It is not additional content for Spy Alliance; it is a follow-up game. Spy Alliance itself has received no announced DLC, expansions, or further updates. The developer's own framing consistently treats it as a finished, bounded product. With the last update to the game on August 14, 2024, and no indication of any further content planned for it specifically, Spy Alliance is a complete, self-contained release. The upcoming successor title is a separate product.
