Squirreltopia

Squirreltopia launched on January 12, 2015 as a self-published indie 2D platformer. The developer was active in early 2015, shipping several patches and quality-of-life updates in the weeks following launch. In January 2016, the developer mentioned the possibility of adding new levels and features to Squirreltopia, but this was stated tentatively ("I may add some new levels") and no such content ever materialized. The developer's focus shifted to new projects — Trigger Spree and Animal Galaxy were mentioned in January 2016, and on June 29, 2018, the developer announced Squirrel Sphere, a new game with loose tie-ins to Squirreltopia. That June 2018 post is the last developer communication of any kind. The only DLC ever released was the soundtrack on January 20, 2015, and there are no unreleased DLC entries. There has been no developer communication since June 29, 2018 — nearly eight years of silence. The game shipped as a complete product and, despite the vague 2016 mention of possible additions, received no post-launch content expansions. Squirreltopia is a finished game.
