Evaluation

Stacklands launched on April 8, 2022 and received a steady stream of post-launch content. The developer shipped three major free updates in the first year: the Island Update, the Dark Forest Update (November 9, 2022), and the Order & Structure Update (December 14, 2022). The first paid DLC, Cursed Worlds, released on July 25, 2023. A second paid DLC, Stacklands 2000, was announced in March 2024 and released on October 30, 2024 โ€” the most recent piece of content for the game. Both DLCs listed on the store are marked as released. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced roadmap for future Stacklands content, and no developer statements promising additional updates. The most recent developer communication referencing Stacklands directly (April 15, 2026) was a post announcing a demo for the team's new game, Grail โ€” not any new Stacklands content. The post describes the team as having been working on Grail "for a bit more than a year," placing the start of that new project shortly after the Stacklands 2000 DLC shipped. This strongly suggests the Stacklands team has moved on to a new project. With all announced content shipped, no outstanding commitments, and the developer's focus visibly shifted to a new title, the game's content appears complete as of October 30, 2024.
Evidence
The developer announced a demo for their new game, Grail, stating they have been working on it for 'a bit more than a year' โ€” meaning development started around early 2025, shortly after Stacklands 2000 shipped. No mention of any future Stacklands content.

You can also sell cards to get coins which you can then use to buy Card Packs. Packs contain multiple cards that you can use to expand your village. Every pack has a focus such as Cooking, Farming or Building.

At the end of every Moon you'll need to feed all your villagers - so make sure you have enough food, or your villagers will starve! ๐Ÿ’€
