Star Merchant launched on March 7, 2017. In the week following launch, the developer shipped three patches addressing bugs and adding small features — notably a new missions system in version 1.25 on March 13, 2017, and a general bug-fix patch (v1.26) on March 15, 2017. After that point, all developer activity visible in the news feed belongs to entirely different games published under the Conglomerate 5 umbrella (such as Brotherhood, DREAMOUT, Skelethrone, Doomer, and others). None of those posts reference Star Merchant in any way. The game has received no updates, announcements, or developer communications of any kind since March 15, 2017. The store description contains no mentions of planned future content, DLC, or ongoing development, and there are no DLC listings associated with the game. Star Merchant launched as a self-contained trading simulation and its brief post-launch patch activity concluded within one week of release. The game is complete.
