STARBO - The Story of Leo Cornell launched on January 4, 2018 as a short, self-contained story-driven horror game. The developer (David at Diax Arts) released one post-launch update on July 10, 2018, which added auto-saving, chapter selection, bug fixes, and minor details — after which all communication about STARBO stopped. There are no DLC listings, no announced expansions, and no roadmap of any kind for the game. The store description describes a complete, finite experience with no suggestion of ongoing content. Developer communications since then have been focused entirely on new, separate projects: a February 2022 post announced the release of a different game called "Karen Sees," and an October 2024 post announced an upcoming game called "DIDDY." These posts confirm the developer remains active as a solo creator but has moved on from STARBO entirely. The game launched as a complete, finished product and received its only meaningful update in July 2018.

Leo Cornell was just another regular working-class guy, trying to make a living under horrendous circumstances due to his evil patronizing boss, Jorge Blue. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until the very same day that Leo got himself fired, he also realised that his very own existence had come to an end.

STARBO is a short, story-driven horror game based on the story of a man’s journey beyond death. You'll get to explore a brand new world, find hidden keys and solve puzzles all under the pressure of bloodthirsty creatures wanting nothing other than your failure.
