Stardust Skate

Stardust Skate launched on March 21, 2025 as a complete arcade endless runner. VchiBan has since shipped two major free content updates. The first, on April 1, 2025, added four new playable skaters, released the original soundtrack as a separate DLC, and teased more updates on the way. The second, on December 22, 2025, introduced a new skater (Gooberton Dweeb), new abilities and voice lines, new game modes, new level variations, and Steam Deck Verification. These two updates establish a pattern of substantial post-launch content additions, with roughly 8 months between the two major drops. As of today (September 24, 2026), it has been approximately 9 months since the December 2025 update — just slightly beyond that established ~8-month interval. No specific future content has been announced, and the developer has not commented on whether more updates are planned. However, the gap is only marginally past the historical window, and the developer has made no statement indicating development has concluded. The sole DLC on the store (the Original Soundtrack) was released on April 1, 2025. Given the close proximity to the cadence window and the absence of any completion statement, the sustained update pattern remains the best characterization of the game's current state.
