SteamWorld Heist

SteamWorld Heist launched on June 7, 2016 as a complete turn-based strategy game. It received one paid DLC expansion (The Outsider, released on launch day) and two cosmetic hat packs in September 2016, along with the game's official soundtrack. All four DLC items have been released, and all were shipped by September 19, 2016. The developer's post-launch support consisted of a feature patch in June 2016 ("Wonky Business") and a bug fix patch in September 2017 — both maintenance updates with no new content. Since September 2017, the developer has posted no further updates to this game's Steam page. Subsequent news posts on this store page are entirely about other SteamWorld franchise titles — SteamWorld Build (announced January 2023, released December 2023) and SteamWorld Heist II (released August 8, 2024), the standalone sequel. The developer has not announced any further content for SteamWorld Heist, and the sequel's release makes additional content for the original extremely unlikely. The game shipped as a complete product and its content has been fully delivered.
