Steel Salvo

Steel Salvo is a short, free-to-play single-player mech action game that launched on April 7, 2021. The developer issued a balance patch the day after launch (April 8, 2021) and then posted a final update on December 29, 2021 adding Chinese and French localization. Critically, that December 2021 post explicitly states the team is "not actively working on" the game. While it acknowledged player requests for a fuller experience and said the team would "look into it," it made no concrete commitments — explicitly noting "we can't promise anything." No roadmap, no announced DLC, and no unreleased content has ever appeared on the store. There have been no developer communications of any kind since December 29, 2021. The store description characterizes Steel Salvo as a "short but challenging single-player game," consistent with a finished, self-contained product. With no outstanding content commitments, no post-launch update pattern to speak of, and the developer's own statement that active work has ceased, the game is complete as of the December 2021 localization update.
