Evaluation
Stellar Interface launched on November 21, 2016 and received several DLC packs and updates through early 2018. On November 21, 2019 — the game's third anniversary — the developer published a formal post-mortem explicitly stating they were ending content development on Stellar Interface to focus on their next game, Oirbo. They confirmed no further content or new features would be developed, though they committed to occasional bug fixes.
Years later, on March 11, 2024, the developer returned with one final update (version 2.10) that brought the Steam version in line with console versions and added native Steam Deck support via Steam Input. This was a technical/parity update rather than new content, and the post made no mention of any future Stellar Interface updates — instead directing players to wishlist Oirbo.
All four DLC packs are released. The developer's own words in November 2019 mark the end of content development, and the March 2024 update was a technical catch-up with no indication of further work to come. The game is complete.
