Steven Universe: Unleash the Light is no longer available for purchase on Steam — the game has been removed from the storefront with no active purchase options. The game received its final major update (Version 4.0) on June 16, 2022, which added a new playable character (Greg), a new roguelite mode (Rose's Room), new achievements, and other content. This was followed by a series of bug fix patches through November 23, 2022 to address issues introduced by that update. The closing message in the Version 4.0 post — "From our entire team: thank you for playing UNLEASH THE LIGHT!" — reads as a farewell note, and no developer communications have appeared since November 2022. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained RPG experience and the content arc appears concluded. Those who already own the game can still play it.
