Evaluation
Stick it to the Stickman launched into 1.0 on September 23, 2026, after nearly five years and eight months of development. The developer's launch post is candid and conclusive: Free Lives explicitly states that the team is "moving on," and that game modes which were previously teased — the Marketing Department, Robot Takeover of Fulfilment, the Science Center, and Employee Evaluation Trials — will not be completed, as finishing them "would have taken another year (or more)." The 1.0 release includes the game's ultimate boss fight and the Neurolink game mode, fulfilling the two commitments announced on August 7, 2026.
The developer does note a handful of near-term post-launch tasks: an optimization pass, bug fixes, Steam Trading Cards, and minor polish. These are maintenance activities, not new content, and the tone of the post ("it's time for this team to move on," "goodbye for now") makes clear that substantive content development has concluded.
The game shipped across Early Access with multiple major content updates — including the Level Builder (December 4, 2025) and Foreign Manufacturing (May 4, 2026) — before reaching its completed 1.0 state. The 1.0 launch post is a definitive statement that content development is finished.
Evidence
1.0 launch post explicitly states the team is 'moving on,' names several game modes that will not be completed, and closes with 'goodbye for now.' Post-launch tasks are limited to optimization, bug fixes, trading cards, and minor polish — no new content.
Developer confirmed the 1.0 release date of September 23, 2026, and described the final content additions (Neurolink and a redacted final mode) as the completion of their Early Access promises.

About this game
Congratulations on joining The Company!
As a new employee, your primary responsibility is to physically depose your supervisors, fight your way to the top of the corporate ladder (literally, with violence), and claim the ultimate title of CEO. In this rogue-lite physics brawler you'll brutally displace your superiors, ascend to the upper echelons of corporate power, and unlock new workers and game modes to achieve the greatest goal of all – increasing shareholder value.

Stick it to the Stickman is a high-octane, physics-based brawler set in a truly hostile working environment. Fight off co-workers and rival executives looking to steal your job by chaining together combos and choosing from a massive selection of sick moves, deadly weapons, and devastating superpowers. Unlock unique office archetypes – including Temps, Caffeine Addicts, and Ego Maniacs – and add friends to your payroll with couch co-op and remote play.

As you punch, kick, stab, staple, and chainsaw your way up the business hierarchy, engage in all manner of lethally profitable corporate operations including navigating OSHA-violating warehouses and dodging rogue forklifts, placing tax-deductible bets on hyper-violent billionaires, installing completely safe brain-chip implants that let you summon telekinetic artillery with your mind, and racing to the bottom of a doomsday bunker to fight the one and only Founder.

Bribe politicians, bust unions, price out local neighborhoods, and suppress protests. In the unregulated free market, there are no moral victories – only profit. Stickmen need jobs, but shareholders need growth, and you will provide that growth at any cost. But don't get too comfy: once you've laid waste to your rivals and been anointed CEO, the board will instantly demote you back to being an intern. Yes, you learned how to tie a tie for nothing.
Time to clock in.
