STONKS-9800: Stock Market Simulator

STONKS-9800 remains an actively developed Early Access game steadily progressing toward its full 1.0 release. The solo developer (TERNOX) has maintained a strong cadence of major updates throughout Early Access, including: Update 0.6 (April 29, 2025), Update 0.8 (November 14, 2025), Update 0.10: Family Ties (June 29, 2026), and Update 0.10.1 (July 20, 2026). Since the last evaluation, the developer has continued shipping feature patches, with the most recent post dated September 4, 2026 — just one day before today's assessment date. The June 29, 2026 update explicitly describes Update 0.10 as "DEFINITELY the last one before the full release of version 1.0," and notes that romance storylines for Amy and Sae cannot be pursued yet — those are planned for Version 1.0. A roadmap post from July 14, 2025 outlined what the full release will include: 4 new characters with full illustrated sprites, a broader conspiracy storyline about control over Japan's economy, and multiple endings based on character relationships. A February 2, 2026 developer update confirmed Story Mode was actively in development, targeting summer 2026. The summer 2026 window for the full release has now passed without a 1.0 launch, but the developer remains highly active — multiple feature patches have shipped since June 2026, and there is no sign of development trouble or communication slowdown. The game is clearly still being built toward its 1.0 milestone, with substantial story content still to come.
