Evaluation

The Stoneville Incident is the first installment in the 'Stories to Tell' series, developed by a solo 16-year-old developer from Spain. Each entry in the series is described as being based on a different dream or nightmare the developer has experienced, suggesting further installments are at least conceptually planned as separate releases. This particular game launched on July 14, 2026 as a free-to-play, self-contained short horror experience (approximately 15–20 minutes). The only post-launch developer communication is a small bug-fix patch released on July 17, 2026, addressing issues reported after launch. The game itself appears complete as a standalone experience, but given how recently it launched and the series framing, there is not yet enough information to determine the full scope of post-launch support or future content plans for this specific title.

About this game

Hello, my name is zebaxx. I’m a 16-year-old game developer from Spain. I had this nightmare a while ago… I still remember it clearly because I always write down my nightmares when I wake up.

In [Stories to Tell] The Stoneville Incident, the player takes on the role of a young guy who documents his move into a new house through vlogs, in a style inspired by YouTube content. What begins as casual, everyday recording quickly turns into a series of disturbing and increasingly dangerous events.

[The game lasts approximately 15 to 20 minutes]
