Storybook Brawl is a free-to-play online autobattler that launched into Early Access on June 18, 2021. On April 25, 2023, the developer (Good Luck Games, LLC) posted an official announcement stating that the servers would be shutting down on May 1, 2023, and that "there is no path forward." This is a definitive end-of-life statement directly from the developer. The game is no longer purchasable — no purchase options are available on the store. Because the game requires live servers to function and those servers have been shut down, the game is effectively unplayable. The store listing is no longer active for purchase, confirming it has been delisted. A planned first expansion called "Spooky Forest" was announced in October 2022 for a Spring 2023 release, but the server shutdown announcement in April 2023 came before that expansion shipped, meaning it was never released. That promise was overtaken by the studio's closure decision.
