Storyteller launched on March 23, 2023 as a complete puzzle game. The developer shipped one major free update on September 26, 2023 — the "Devilish" update — which added a new character (The Devil), a new Genesis chapter, a voiced narrator, over 20 new levels, and a stamp collection challenge system. This was announced in June 2023 and delivered on schedule. Following that update, the developer released two hotfixes and a small patch through October 16, 2023 to address bugs and polish. There has been no developer communication since October 16, 2023, and no further content has been announced. The single DLC in the store listing is the original soundtrack, which was released at launch. With one major post-launch content drop now fully delivered, no outstanding commitments, and no developer posts since October 2023, the game appears to have reached its complete state.
