Evaluation

Strikers Club entered Steam Early Access on July 17, 2026, as a free-to-play multiplayer football game. The developer, Oddshot Games, has been shipping updates at a rapid pace since launch — with notable patches on July 17, July 23, August 3, August 14, and September 11, 2026, adding features such as anti-cheat, custom games, career statistics, player levels, and new cosmetics with every release. The game is explicitly designed as an ongoing live service. The store description states the game "is free-to-play and always will be" with cosmetics and additional features available for purchase and through gameplay and events. A premium currency (Tokens), a Supporter Pack, and a "Strikers Club Pro" lifetime DLC were all launched on day one alongside multiple country-themed cosmetic packs. In the August 14, 2026 update, the developer published their near-term development priorities, including a pre-match position preference system, career leaderboards, more playstyles, and a Ranked mode — all features still in development. The September 11, 2026 patch delivered career stats and player levels (fulfilling part of the August roadmap), confirming the team continues to execute on its stated plans. Oddshot Games have been transparent throughout about being a small team of three people (one programmer, two artists) working as fast as they can. The game is still in Early Access, actively being developed, with a live-service monetization structure intended to run indefinitely and several announced features not yet shipped.
