Succubus With Guns launched on October 8, 2021 as a free-to-play third-person shooter. After launch, the developer shipped several feature and balance patches through early 2024, culminating in the release of the game's first and only expansion — the "WINDING PATH" campaign DLC — alongside a costume DLC on February 9, 2024. An announcement post from January 27, 2024 teased "something else exciting prepared," but this was almost certainly referring to the costume DLC that released alongside WINDING PATH two weeks later. No further content has been announced or released since February 2024. Both DLC items are released, no unreleased DLC exists on the store, and the developer has not communicated any plans for additional content. The game's last developer communication of any kind was February 7, 2024, and the release pattern — one major content drop in over two years of operation — does not suggest an ongoing update cycle. The game appears to be complete as of the February 2024 DLC releases.
