Sudoku Universe launched on December 18, 2017 as a finished puzzle game featuring 150 Sudoku puzzles, a random level generator, and various cosmetic extras. On September 4, 2018, the developer shipped one notable post-launch update: a major UI overhaul and 25 additional "Pro" levels. That is the only meaningful content update the game has ever received, and it remains the last developer communication directly about Sudoku Universe itself. Following that update, the developer's attention shifted to publishing companion titles in their Sudoku series — Sudoku Killer launched on October 19, 2018 — and later to an entirely different game, Anomaly Hunter, with news posts about it continuing through January 21, 2021. Since January 2021, there have been no further posts of any kind from the studio on this game's page. The game has no unreleased DLC listed, no announced future content, no roadmap, and no developer statement indicating ongoing development. The single post-launch content drop in September 2018 does not establish a sustained update cadence. The store description describes a fixed set of features with no language suggesting ongoing additions. The developer's own posts from 2018 onward focused on promoting separate products rather than further expanding Sudoku Universe. This game launched as a complete product and received one content addition; that addition represents the content's completion point.
