Evaluation
Sugar, sugar, sugarcoat is a visual novel dating simulation that launched on May 19, 2024 as a complete, self-contained story. Since release, the developer's activity has consisted entirely of bug fixes and maintenance patches, with one notable addition: a Chinese language update (Ver1.1.0) shipped on October 29, 2025, made possible through a partnership with publisher Pujia8 Studio. A soundtrack DLC was also released on December 31, 2025. The developer's most recent communication was a typo-fix patch on January 10, 2026. There are no announced future content additions, no unreleased DLC, and no developer statements suggesting additional story content or major updates are planned. The game launched as a finished narrative product and has been maintained accordingly.
Evidence
A soundtrack DLC was released on December 31, 2025. It is the only DLC listed and has been released — no unreleased DLC entries exist.
Chinese language support added in Ver1.1.0, enabled through a partnership with Pujia8 Studio. Developer thanks partners and asks for continued support of the game.

About this game
"Sugar, sugar, sugarcoat" is a dating simulation game set in a school. Interact with the girls and gain their love. You must then offer that love to the devil you love.
system
You can read the story with a click. There are also options within the story, and the story changes depending on what you choose.
story
Your character, "Helena", has been cursed by a girl named "Marie", who calls herself the devil. Helena, who loves Marie, decides to give her love as Marie asked. (Whether or not that was Helena's own will.)
The characters "Clarice," "Michelle," and "Sarah" are Helena's closest friends. Talk to them and generate love to offer to the devil.
characters
Clarice: She appears to be serious, but in fact she is a frivolous girl. Her free-spirited behavior is conspicuous, but there are also glimpses of a kind-hearted side.
Michelle: A friendly girl with a sunny smile. She likes pretty, soft and sweet things, and her expression changes often.
Sarah: A girl who always smiles peacefully. She takes pleasure in helping others and has a heart of compassion for all things.
Helena: She is a serious girl with limited emotional expression. She is hard to recognize at first glance, but she cares very much about her friends.
Marie: The Devil loves you.
