Summer Clover launched on June 26, 2024 as a complete visual novel / simulation title. In the weeks following launch, the developer (Connection) shipped several patches addressing bugs, translation corrections, and quality-of-life improvements to game systems (V1.08 through V1.11, spanning July–December 2024). On September 25, 2024, the developer posted a milestone update celebrating 250,000+ copies sold, but explicitly stated that "upcoming plans are still under discussion" and that no announcements would be made until an appropriate time — stopping short of committing to any specific future content. The two DLC items listed on the store (a soundtrack and an artbook, both released on June 27, 2024) are the only add-ons and both have been available since launch. No further DLC has been announced or listed. The most recent game-specific update was the V1.11 bug fix patch on December 1, 2024, and there has been no developer communication about Summer Clover since then. News posts from February 2026 (NEWS-4 and NEWS-5) are publisher promotional posts for entirely separate games (LifeGuard Legend and Mirai's Midnight Training) and do not indicate ongoing development of Summer Clover itself.
