Super Auto Pets launched on September 24, 2021 and has been continuously updated ever since. Team Wood Games has shipped a steady stream of major content: the Golden Pack expansion (January 11, 2023), a major Puppy Pack overhaul (June 8, 2023), the Unicorn Pack expansion with 84 new pets and a new mana mechanic (February 1, 2024), the Danger Pack featuring endangered animals and new gameplay mechanics (May 20, 2025), and most recently the Daily Mode — a brand-new game mode where players face a rotating set of 14 teams each day (April 8, 2026). Between major releases, the developer has consistently delivered feature patches and balance updates, with the latest bug-fix and balance patch arriving on May 21, 2026. A September 2025 update even teased Mini-Pack 3 as coming next, and October 2025 saw Mini-Pack 3 ship alongside the announcement of a physical Super Auto Pets card game Kickstarter. The developer shows no signs of slowing down — major updates have arrived roughly every 6–12 months across the game's lifetime, and the studio remains actively communicating and patching the game as recently as May 2026.
