Super Galaxy Ball

Super Galaxy Ball launched on October 23, 2022 as a free-to-play 3D platformer by solo developer Jonathan Stano. Following launch, the developer delivered a steady stream of meaningful updates throughout 2022 and 2023: a new Portal Run game mode (December 2022), Steam Workshop and campaign leaderboards with ghost replay support (February 2023), multiplayer improvements (April 2023), multiplayer Portal Run (May 2023), a full multiplayer Versus mode with public lobbies (October 2023), and updated procedurally generated graphics (November 21, 2023). All four cosmetic skin pack DLCs were released on October 24, 2022 — the day after launch — and no unreleased DLC is listed on the store. The developer's December 2022 post listed several planned future updates (leaderboards, workshop, versus mode, more campaign levels and mechanics), and all of those commitments appear to have been delivered by the October 2023 update. The last developer communication of any kind was the November 21, 2023 graphics update. There have been no posts since that date, no announced unshipped content, and no roadmap pointing to future additions. The developer noted as early as December 2022 that updates "might take a few months" given this is a solo side project, but the November 2023 update represents the conclusion of the roadmap items that were publicly promised. With all stated plans fulfilled and over 18 months of silence since the last update, the game appears to be content-complete.
