Super Psycho Baseball launched in Early Access on December 19, 2022 and was developed through a series of updates over several years. On November 16, 2025, the developer shipped version 1.0 — the "Final Boss Edition" — and explicitly stated: "I'm happy to announce that Super Psycho Baseball is finally complete." All roadmap features announced at launch (Psycho League, branching difficulty, a secret final boss) had shipped by that point.
On July 25, 2026, the developer released one more update: Battle Mode (v1.1.0), which adds online and local multiplayer with global leaderboards and lobbies of up to four players. In the same post, the developer stated: "there's a chance it might be the final Super Psycho Baseball update outside of bug fixes (unless I think of something cool)" and thanked players for their support throughout the game's development. This language signals the developer considers the game effectively done, while leaving a small door open for future ideas. No specific future content has been announced, and the developer's tone throughout this post reads as a fond farewell rather than a continuation roadmap. The rules are quite easy. There are three innings. You must hit five home runs each inning to advance. You gain powerups as you go! Find the right combinations to defeat your adversaries and become a Psycho League Legend.
