Super Roboy launched on January 20, 2025 as a hand-drawn Metroidvania. In the weeks following launch, the developer pushed several bug fix and balancing patches. On February 2, 2025, the developer announced a planned June update with enhanced graphics and a new boss fight. That update delivered on June 14, 2025, adding new visuals, an extra boss before the final boss, and additional fixes. The most recent developer communication is a bug fix patch from January 29, 2026. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content, and no roadmap pointing to anything beyond what has already shipped. The June 2025 update appears to be the final substantial content addition to the game. The developer has not communicated any further content plans since that update shipped.
