Compounding the concern, a news post from April 8, 2021 announced that MUSICUS! was the "Final Title" from OVERDRIVE — the related developer studio — signaling that the broader development ecosystem around this series has wound down. While minori (the Supipara developer) and OVERDRIVE are distinct entities, both operated within the same Japanese visual novel publishing sphere through MangaGamer, and no post-2018 updates about Supipara Chapter 3 have been communicated. Chapter 3 remains a publicly stated commitment that has never been fulfilled, and the developer and publisher have been silent on the subject since mid-2018.
