Supreme Ruler The Great War launched on August 1, 2017 and received several updates through its lifespan. The developer shipped feature updates specific to this game in September 2017 (version 10.1.38) and June 2018 (version 10.1.49, adding Rail Transport and a new "Brinkmanship" scenario). A broader update in June 2019 noted that BattleGoat was still providing "ongoing support for Supreme Ruler Ultimate and Great War," though by that point most studio resources had shifted to the then-new Galactic Ruler project. After June 2019, no further updates were published for this title. BattleGoat's subsequent communications focused entirely on Galactic Ruler (released August 2022) and the upcoming Supreme Ruler 2030. The game is no longer available for purchase on Steam — it has been removed from the storefront. The last confirmed content update for this specific game was the June 2019 patch.
