Supurr Cat Cafe: Sandwich Rush launched on November 11, 2024 from the two-person studio 2 Nerdy Nerds. The developers have been consistently active since launch, shipping several free updates: Patch 1.1 on November 22, 2024 (new cosmetics, balance changes, new content), Patch 1.2 on April 5, 2025 (spring/Easter seasonal decorations), a hotfix on August 14, 2025, Patch 1.4 on September 29, 2025 (Halloween decorations and a new cat accessory), and a localization update on December 18, 2025 adding French and Portuguese — the most recent developer communication on record. Importantly, the April 5, 2025 post explicitly listed content the developers were still planning to deliver: a VIP Customers gameplay update, additional localization, and a Mac version. The localization item was subsequently fulfilled by the December 2025 update, but the VIP Customers feature and Mac version had not shipped as of December 18, 2025. No later post has indicated these were cancelled or completed. These remain outstanding commitments from the developer. The developers have been communicating and shipping updates at roughly 1–5 month intervals throughout the game's post-launch life, and no statement announcing the end of development has been made.
