Surfingers launched on January 27, 2016 as a complete arcade game featuring multiple worlds, over 20 unlockable characters, and a full set of gameplay mechanics. The only post-launch updates specific to the game were a minor bug fix and stability improvement on October 17, 2016 — no new content was ever added after launch. The developer's news feed is shared across all of publisher Forever Entertainment's titles, and every subsequent post in that feed (dating from 2018 through 2022) concerns entirely different games such as Fear Effect Sedna, Panzer Dragoon: Remake, and The House of the Dead: Remake. No DLC has been listed, no roadmap or future content was ever announced, and the store description describes the game as a finished product with no mention of planned additions. Surfingers launched as a complete package and received only a single minor maintenance patch before all developer activity for this title ceased.

Surfingers is a arcade game with controls based on up-and-down movement. The player must change the height of the wave in a dizzying pace, bypassing many obstacles (ships, balloons, rocks, trees, bones, pyramids etc) and try to get as long as possible without touching anything.
The game offers surfing through various worlds, including: ocean, snow, desert or hell. There are over 20 characters available to choose from, which can eventually be unlocked for the achievements or gained stars.
