Survival: Lost Way launched on Steam on May 22, 2023, but the game's development history actually dates back to early 2021, when the developer began publishing regular updates. From August 2021 through September 2022, the developer shipped a steady stream of feature updates (versions 0.0.5 through 1.4.3), adding weather systems, vehicles, new weapons, a shop system, and more. Multiple update posts during that period included roadmaps promising future additions such as an electricity system, fishing, pets, an event system, and a new map — none of which appear to have been delivered. The last post about this game was a bug fix update on September 10, 2022. After that, there was complete silence regarding Survival: Lost Way. The one developer post since then — dated August 13, 2024 — was an announcement for an entirely different game (Skelethrone: The Chronicles of Ericona), with no mention of Survival: Lost Way. As of June 25, 2026, the developer has not communicated anything about this game in well over three years. The promised roadmap features were never confirmed as delivered or cancelled, and no final update or completion statement was ever made.
