Sweet House launched on July 20, 2021 as a self-contained casual hidden-object game with a fixed scope: 9 levels, 3 characters, and a single Mystery DLC — all of which were available on or before launch day. The weeks immediately following release saw a flurry of patches improving loading speeds, fixing bugs, and adding minor features, which is normal post-launch polish activity. The most recent developer activity was on October 1, 2021, when Steam Trading Cards were added. There have been no developer communications of any kind since that date — nearly five years of silence as of today (June 23, 2026). The game's store description makes no mention of planned expansions, future content, or ongoing development, and no unreleased DLC exists in the store listing. The game launched as a complete, finite product, received a short burst of post-launch maintenance, and has been stable ever since. There is no indication from the developer that any additional content was ever intended beyond what shipped.
