Evaluation

Swipecart launched on May 8, 2014 as a finished physics-based mine cart racing game with 60 tracks, avatar customization, and a built-in level editor. The only developer communication after launch was a single post on May 23, 2014 announcing that Steam Trading Cards were coming soon and that Steam Workshop support was being explored but uncertain ("still up in the air"). Trading Cards did eventually ship — the store page confirms their availability with a dedicated banner. The store description still notes "Steam Workshop integration planned," but this was flagged as aspirational even at the time of the announcement, and no follow-up communication was ever made about it. The developer's last post was on May 23, 2014, and there have been no further news posts, patches, or announcements since. The store page's last asset update timestamp points to November 2015, suggesting minor maintenance occurred then, but no content communications followed. With over 11 years of silence since the last developer post and no unreleased DLC, no roadmap, and no active update pattern, the game clearly launched as a largely complete product and has received no meaningful post-launch content additions. The Workshop mention is the sole outstanding item, but it was explicitly uncertain at announcement and has received zero follow-up across more than a decade — it is effectively abandoned as a plan.
Evidence
Developer's only post-launch communication, announcing Trading Cards coming soon and noting Steam Workshop support was uncertain and still being investigated. This is the last known developer communication.
